TallyBoard | Everyday Stuff | tell me I'm not the only one

.....Tell me I'm not the only one that goes through food fads. Thanks to all the surgeries I had and having 2/3 of my stomach removed and a couple of feet of bowel...I struggle to eat enough on daily basis so when I find something I really like, I will eat nothing but that for a couple of days. Yesterday I found this awesome sweet vidalia onion dressing - can't get enough of it at the moment. Before that it was peanut butter m&ms and before that cheese, Its like every few days .....I have a new fad but the problem is I always buy to much of what ever the fad is and the fridge and cupboards end up with all the left overs because once the fad is over - it's over! I just took 4 bags of stuff to the food pantry this morning....at least someone is benefiting my weird habit.

What about you gals - do you go through and food fads?

I do this too! I am currently determined to eat my weight in Cheetos every single day. I don't know what it is about them. Maybe 'cuz they're so darn cheesy. Before this, I ate a 6" sweet onion chicken teriyaki Subway sandwich for lunch every day for about 3 months...but now, I can't stomach the thought of it. LOL!

Not me, but I know why. My mom makes a whopping amount of food - waaaaaay too much. She did it when we were younger and we would eat the same food for days. I swear we would eat the same soup for a month. And when they were still trying to diagnose my Crohn's there were very few things I could eat without getting sick. I think I ate turkey on white for lunch almost everyday for a year. So it kills me now, I just can't do it.

Now that I'm in control, I have it down to a science. If we have leftovers that I don't freeze (which usually doesn't happen) the kids and I typically eat it for lunch the next day. I do have meals that I plan for leftovers, especially if I know we have a busy day coming up or something but I usually just make enough for dinner each night.
