A few weeks ago I started visiting a local scrapbook store and got to chit chatting with owner - She asked to see some of my work and fell in love with the Zentangles page I did with Reilly on it. I showed her my book which is full of my doodles and she asked if I would willing to teach a small class how to do it. I was pretty chuffed and was really looking forward to getting out, doing something different and meeting some new people.
She also said she wanted to try itself and I lent her some of my 'how too" books. Today when I called in to pick up some glue and to find out if she wanted to run the classes .....I find out SHE is already teaching 2 classes in it HERSELF. This is someone who until a few weeks ago had never even heard of or even seen a zentangle. I understand she is a struggling business - but I wasn't asking to be paid and she still could of charged people for the classes. For some reason I just feel a bit disappointed. Oh - and to add insult to injury - she painted her double front windows in a Zentangle design with the store name in it - at least it isn't very good :) 06/11/12 at 02:46 pm EDT

I'd be pissed off!!! That's not right for her to take something that you 2 talked about and then do her own thing. She should've called you and told you what she was up to first.
