Man - if it weren't for the paycheck, I wouldn't be here! I am so bored today. And yesterday. And Monday. Nothing interesting to do. I have some filing and some reading/research I could be doing - but who wants to do that. I'm sitting at my desk - looking out over the bay (I have a beautiful view) and all I want to do is be OUT THERE somewhere rather than IN HERE! I wish I were independently wealthy so I didn't have to work unless I wanted to! 08/15/12 at 02:01 pm EDT

So....I just took an extra long lunch with my daughter and we went to the thrift store looking for things to put in her 1st college apartment. Found a nice dresser & mirror for $40 and a cute little desk for $15. Also found a few decorative items. A good way to check outta work for an hour! I've been sorting thru my scrappy cabinet on things for the swaps I've got myself into....other then that , nothing exciting. I know I should mop the floors when I get back from taking the toddler to preschool , but I would rather have a hot , no interupted bath

I'm always up to swap something or anything...what would you have in mind ? That swap train I'm dying waiting ..... so I feel your pain. I've yet to mop the floors cos I've detoured eating my sushi & not having to share

We're finishing up our little waterpark vacation for the year. We go home tomorrow morning. It's been fun, but I'm tired and ready to go home!

Been dealing with a tooth that was surgically removed and then I got a dry socket . . . can you say pain????? It has made me miserable and I have not felt like doing anything! Not even scrapping! On top of that was Bible School and birthday parties and getting kids back to school (the oldest anyway)! 08/16 at 08:19 am EDT | reply

course my luck....the toddler falls asleep 15mins before I'm meant to drag her to preschool. least this gives me time to get myself dressed & her lunch made...I've got my toys to play with when I get back, but after 2hrs back & forth on FB, I might just have a sleep myself LOL
