I'm leaving on Sunday for 2 weeks!  I have job-related training in Phoenix for the next two weeks.  I'm kinda looking forward to it - just getting out of the area.  But I hate being gone from home that long.  Unfortunately, I won't have much time to play tourist - damned training is all day every day.  Even the weekend that I'll be there - we have a homework assignment.  Not fair!  *lol*

Oh darn you'll be 3 hours away from me!   We'll be up there next month some time for a wedding.   I can tell you right now we were up there Tuesday and the heat is killer at 105 still.  Just stay indoors :0).   Thankfully where I live further south we are normally 20 degrees cooler.

Ugh!  Not looking forward to the heat!!  I think I'll melt.

I'll be going back again in late January for a 10-week session.  Will have to stay there for the full 10 weeks (no going home!).  Maybe we could meet up at a restaurant for lunch or something on a weekend! I'll be there from January - April.

That would be great!  There's a few things going on during that time frame too!  There's the Annual Gem & Mineral Show in Tucson, in Feb, it's crazy busy.   Then in April in Mesa they have the CKC.  Phoenix if you get chance, has a few scrapbook stores.   Scrapbook Barn & Scrapbooks Etc.  We normally just do the CKC we have yet to get to one of the stores while they are open.

Oooh!  Sounds like fun!  I don't know yet if I'll be flying or driving.  If I fly - I think I'll rent a car once I'm there.  At least on the weekends!  How far is Tucson from Phoenix?

Tucson is 2 hours south.  And I'm still an hour south of Tucson.
