I just got a message from my mom that my Nana passed away this morning. Nana was actually my step-dad's mom, but she always felt like my "real" grandma to me. She was 94. I haven't been able to see her in a few years (she lived in Idaho) and even if I had, she was in advanced stages of Alzheimer's - so probably wouldn't have recognized me. I haven't been able to get ahold of my mom yet - so I don't know if I'll be traveling to Idaho for her service or not. I miss her. :( 10/03/12 at 03:19 pm EDT
