TallyBoard | Everyday Stuff | Playing Hookey!
I was so tired at work yesterday...I could barely keep my eyes open. I came home early and took a little nap, and then hustled off to church for our ladies craft night. I taught the gals how to make coasters with scrapbook paper. An easy peasy craft. Today - after I get my butt off the computer I plan on crafting. Yup. Today's the day. I'm going for it! Whooo! Hopefully I won't get distracted! 10/12/12 at 10:50 am EDT

It's easy! Found it on pinterest. Get a plain white ceramic tile. Paint mod podge on the glossy side. Add your favorite scrapbook paper (cut to size, of course). Paint another layer of mod podge ontop of the paper. Let dry for 24 hours. May have to come back and add a bit of mod podge, depending on how well the edges stuck. After it's totally dry, spray with a clear acrylic sealer. Voila! Easy peasy. 4 of us made 24 coasters last night in less than an hour! Going to bundle them up in pairs with some pretty ribbon and sell them at our craft bazaar. I think I have pics of some of the coasters my Girl Scouts made in my Altered Gallery. 10/12 at 07:01 pm EDT | reply
