Some of you may have seen this on Facebook, but thought I'd post here as well. I've lived on the Oregon coast for almost 24 years and have never been crabbing. That's practically unheard of. One of my co-workers found out and he volunteered to take me, my dad & hubby out on his boat to get some crab today. We caught our limit! 12 crabs/person x 5 people on the boat = 60 crabs. He volunteered to clean them & cook them and then loaned us an ice chest to take them all home. We have a ton of crab to eat. I better get out my recipe books & learn how to make crab quiche & crab cakes & crab-other stuff. Had a great day on the boat. It was looking like it was going to be a nasty yucky day, but it really turned out to be a nice one. Just a little bit of rain. Cold, but nice. Now...what's for dinner? It was fun. Wish we hadn't waited 24 years to do it. The people we were with knew what to do, so that made it easy. Now I wanna buy a boat & all the crabbing equipment. My husband says it would just be easier to go out with our friends again! *lol*

Sounds like a awesome day ! off you go to Google some delish crab recipes, nothing beats the taste of fresh crab legs with melted butter, mmmmmm
